Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September the 21st of September 1983 in Worthington Ohio is an American actress. She is famous for playing Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills respectively on ABC's Lost television show. Born in Worthington Ohio she left high school in order to relocate to Los Angeles with her mother after her parents divorce. It was a struggle to get by when she got her first acting role in the film Rachel's Room's main character. In 2002, she was awarded an Young Artist Award in 2002 due to her role as Murder on the streets of Greenwich of 15 year aged Martha Moxley as a murder victim, she went on to be awarded. Grace played Shannon Rutherford on the Lost television show in 2004. The show featured her as the principal character for two seasons and was awarded an award for her performance, a Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace wanted to focus on film after starring opposite Tom Welling's character on The Fog, in 2005. The role she played was Kim Mills opposite Liam Neeson (both in Taken 2008) on Suburban Girl as well as the Jane Austen Book Club. She reprised the role as Kim Mills in Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014).She played the leading role in Alice on Malice in Wonderland a modern adaptation of Lewis Carroll's book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace was back on the Lost series for the last two episodes playing Shannon. In 2013, she appears in Californianation, the sixth season. She plays Faith who is both a star-gazer and groupie. She is a Gyllenhaal. She's the daughter of Stephen Gyllenhaal (director) and Naomi Achs (producer), and is more senior in age than Jake Gyllenhaal. Her first appearances were in films starring her father as an adolescent. With her brother, she appeared on the screen in Donnie Darko (2000). Then she appeared in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind and Mona Lisa Smile (both 2002). Gyllenhaal's leading roles in Secretary, the romantic comedy-drama erotico as well as Sherrybaby (a film) earned her nominations for Golden Globe Award. After a string of commercially successful films, including World Trade Center in 2006 her name was recognized more widely in the role of Rachel Dawes (the superhero) in The Dark Knight (2007).
